Work Intelligence · Permit IQ

The permit-to-work intelligence layer

  • Learn the rulebook.
  • Prepare the job.
  • Verify the field.

Why it matters

The permit protects the job — but the system stops at the form

Control of work is a safety system — hazard analysis, permits, isolation, gas testing, inspection, signatures, custody and close-out. The structure is shared, but the exact rules and language belong to each operator, and a generic form can’t see the danger specific to this equipment.

The workforce

Large. Multilingual. Rotating.

The form

Generic by design.

The equipment

Specific in every detail.

The loss

Experience disappears after close-out.

The signed permit records the authority. Permit IQ connects that authority to understanding, equipment and evidence — without ever replacing it.

What it is

One governed journey turns a permit into Work Intelligence

Permit IQ prepares the work. Field IQ verifies and captures it. The Distillery turns approved evidence into controlled improvement — with human authority at every gate.

1

Learn

Practise the operator’s exact permit process and prove understanding.

2

Prepare

Determine the permit path and draft from approved, cited sources.

3

Verify

Field IQ delivers the approved checkpoints at the equipment.

4

Capture

Evidence and execution deltas become a validated work episode.

Improve sits beneath every stage: the Distillery returns only reviewed, approved learning — nothing rewrites a controlled rule automatically.

One assistant, clear roles

Four roles that behave as one work assistant

Each role has one precise job and one trust constraint. Rules come first, every clause links to its source, and a human always approves.

Entry

Navigate + Explain

Returns the exact sequence of forms, permits, tests, inspections and signatures — and explains any clause in plain language and the worker’s language, with the original always visible.

Draft

Co-pilot

Prepares a job-specific hazard-analysis and permit-request draft from approved procedure, equipment intelligence and cited provenance. Editable, and never official without approval.

Learn

Trainer

Builds competence through scored practice, simulation and rehearsal connected to Genesis. It supports competence; it does not replace operator certification.

Field

Verifier bridge

Hands the approved intent to Field IQ and receives structured evidence back. Permit IQ never claims the physical check itself.

Getting started

Start with one job. Prove the engine.

The first release is deliberately narrow: oil and gas, one complete pump-seal replacement, run through more than one operator rulebook. The same physical job through different rulebooks proves the engine is reusable — the asset isn’t a form, it’s the connection among rulebook, equipment, field execution and governed learning.

EON is inviting a limited number of operators into a 90-day design-partner program — starting with permit training and preparation, then strict shadow-mode field verification on approved hardware. Your operational intelligence stays customer-resident behind EON’s Knowledge Firewall. Permit IQ also coexists with your existing ePTW platform, improving its inputs and evidence rather than replacing it.

01

Choose two operator rulebook archetypes and the first job.

02

Stand up the source-grounded Navigator and Explainer.

03

Prepare the pump-seal job with field-level provenance and a human approval gate.

04

Connect permit-system training and rehearsal through Genesis.

05

Hand approved intent to Field IQ and return structured evidence.

06

Review validated episodes in the Distillery queue before any learning is released.

Oil & gas, first

Prepare the job. Verify the field.
Keep the learning.

Permit IQ prepares the work, Field IQ verifies and captures it, and the Distillery turns approved evidence into controlled improvement — always under human authority.
